ZEISS: Resolution at a Distance
14 May 2023
In this video, ZEISS provides an overview of the constraints of conventional micro CT systems versus X-ray microscopy with Resolution at a Distance (RaaDTM). RaaD has been designed to enable the study of a wide range of sample sizes, including those within in situ chambers. Images are initially magnified via geometric projection as with conventional microCT. The projected image is cast onto a scintillator, converting X-rays to a visible light image which is then optically magnified by microscope optics before acquisition by a CCD detector.
