Product news

Bioo Scientific will showcase new AuroFlow™ Ractopamine Strip Test Kits and AuroFlow™ RC Combo Strip Test Kits for the detection of ractopamine and clenbuterol in swine urine, at booth #118 of the 127th AOAC Annual Meeting, August 25-28 in Chicago, IL. The AuroFlow™ Ractopamine Strip Test Kit is the most sensitive ractopamine strip test available, with a detection limit of 1-2 ppb. The AuroFlow™ RC Combo Strip Test Kit is the only combination strip test for ractopamine and clenbuterol available. These strip tests allow 10-minute visual detection of β-agonist residue with no sample preparation required. Bioo Scientific is committed to providing companies with easy to implement, cost-effective methods to identify and eliminate contaminants from food supplies using kits manufactured under ISO 9001 standards, which provide sensitive, reproducible results to meet strict requirements for reliable analysis in a wide variety of sample types.

Everyone is also invited to visit Bioo Scientific’s poster “Flexible Immunoaffinity Platform for the Detection of Aflatoxins in Food and Spice Samples” which Dr. Joe Krebs, the Director of Protein Engineering and Chemistry at Bioo Scientific, will present on August 28th.

Additionally, technical representatives will be available at AOAC 2013 to answer questions about Bioo Scientific’s extensive product line of kits for the detection of veterinary drugs, toxins, pesticides, pathogens and industrial contaminants in food and feed samples. AOAC is an independent, third party organization, which brings standardization and quality standards to analytical methods used for regulation or for demonstrating regulatory compliance. Attending the upcoming AOAC Annual Meeting gives Bioo Scientific the opportunity to meet with prospective customers and introduce them to the latest advances in food and feed safety testing.
