Product news

Bioo Scientific is pleased to announce the launch of the MaxSignal® Fructose Assay Kit, an enzyme-based test kit for the rapid determination of fructose in food, beverage and fermentation samples. The test kit uses a well-established enzymatic procedure, providing maximum sensitivity. The assay can be performed in only 15 minutes.

The flexible assay format allows analysts to perform the assay in a variety of formats; from spectrophotometers to plate readers to flow cells. The versatile nature of the assay permits the use of a wide variety of food and beverage sample types including dairy products, fruits, vegetables, fruit juices, beer and honey with minimal sample prep.

According to Dr. Joe Krebs, Bioo Scientific Director of Protein Chemistry, “Our new MaxSignal Fructose Assay Kit provides the reliability, accuracy, and speed required by analysts for fructose determination in food in today’s competitive environment. We also understand that our customers require a dependable supply of kits so we have optimized our inventory management system to ensure that our kits are in stock and available for overnight delivery. “

The kit provides enough reagents for 48 fructose determinations. The MaxSignal® Fructose Assay Kit is Bioo Scientific’s latest addition to our line of kits for the analysis of constituents in food. These kits are all manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (ISO CI#: SARA-2009-CA-0114-01-B).
