First-of-its kind study reveals clinical chemistry variations in patients on transgender hormone therapy

Jeff SoRelle, Clinical Pathology Resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center, reveals how his unique study has unearthed some interesting variations in clinical chemistry in transgender patients on hormone therapy. The findings suggest that these patients may need better defined intervals for the most appropriate care to be given in clinical practice.
