Detection of Food Contaminants using the Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer

At the National Food Agency, Sweden, the food safety for consumers is monitored and maintained by designing methods on the Orbitrap mass spectrometer that can detect contaminants in a range of matrices and at very low levels. The technology even facilitates retrospective studies on samples stored from the past.
