O’Sullivan, Universitat Rovira i Virgili’s Interfibio Research Group, describe how they developed an enzyme-linked oligonucleotide assay (ELONA) approach to detect potential biowarfare agents such as Yersinia pestis. Their work provides proof of concept for applying RPA in a heterogeneous format, with one primer immobilized onto a solid surface.
