The number of bioprocess applications for microalgae has increased in recent years, particularly in the field of biofuel production.

In this application note, Eppendorf demonstrates that pairing a stirred-tank bioreactor with the DASGIP® PBR4 LED Illumination Module can be used to successfully grow high density microalgal cultures.
