Determination of Chemicals in Consumer Goods, Food Commodities and Drugs in a Rapid Method with Limited Sample Preparation

29 Sept 2015

A direct introduction of samples can save a lot of time during various analyses. Common direct inlet probes into ionization chamber are without software control and bear the risk of a source contamination. A direct introduction enables a generic way of investigating samples. This allows for saving time and money by reducing the efforts for sample prep. A novel direct inlet is presented in this application note that offers several benefits over common direct inlet probes like simplicity of operation, choice of chromatographic or no chromatographic separation, and less MS contamination.
