CellDrop automated cell counter: Slide-free cell counting for sustainable laboratories
4 May 2023In this application note, DeNovix introduces the CellDrop™ automated cell counter, which offers cell counting without the use of plastic slides. The CellDrop features dual fluorescence and brightfield optics, a variable height sample chamber, and powerful analysis software. It can quantify and qualify the viability of primary cell samples, such as peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using viability dyes to count whole blood samples. It is also optimized for accurate cell counts and viability across a wide range of sample types, including those with significant debris or minimal debris. Recommended viability assays are provided for common sample types.
