Applicability of Two New Immunoassays to the Screening of Mycotoxins in Feed

28 Jan 2015

The determination of mycotoxins and ergot alkaloids has gained importance for food and feed safety as these compounds are undesirable contaminants of cereal products and grass seeds and can cause adverse health effects in humans and animals. This poster reports the applicability of two new immunoassays to the screening of mycotoxins in feed: a biochip based immunoassay for the simultaneous detection of multiple mycotoxins from a single feed sample and an ELISA for the screening of aflatoxin B1.
