Today Bioo Scientific announced the launch of the MaxSignal® TMB (3,3’,5,5’ – tetramethylbenzidine) Microwell Substrate Solution, a stable, one-component, ready-to-use TMB formulation which has already been incorporated into hundreds of different types of ELISA kits. This TMB simplifies ELISAs for the end user, while increasing accuracy by reducing potential errors.

The MaxSignal TMB Microwell Substrate Solution has a shelf life of 3 years when stored at 2º- 8ºC. This reagent has undergone rigorous stability testing to measure both its stability and performance over a prolonged period of time. This testing has demonstrated that the MaxSignal TMB Microwell Substrate Solution is more stable over long term storage than TMB obtained from other leading manufacturers.

Unlike most other commercially available substrates, this product contains no DMF or DMSO and is non-carcinogenic. This reagent is also manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (ISO CI#: SARA-2009-CA-0114-A).

The MaxSignal TMB Microwell Substrate Solution has been incorporated into Bioo Scientific’s complete line of MaxSignal® ELISA Kits for the detection of toxins, pesticides, antibiotics, hormones and other veterinary drugs in food and feed samples. Additionally it is incorporated into the MaxDiscovery™ Cytokine and Reporter Assay ELISA Kits. These kits are manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (ISO CI#: SARA-2009-CA-0114-A).

ELISAEnzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA), also known as enzyme immunoassays (EIA), are used for the detection and quantification of proteins, peptides and antibodies in a sample. ELISA often comes in kit format, with pre-selected antibody pairs to detect specific proteins or biomarkers of diseases such as diabetes and obesity, or cardiovascular and neurological disorders. Detection is made possible with chemiluminescent, fluorescent or colorimetric substrates and detection instruments such as microplate / ELISA readers. Other kits available include: Enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) assays for the quantification of protein-producing cells and chemiluminescent immunoassays (CLIA) kits.
