There is increasing focus towards targeted treatment of cancer; therefore, a good understanding of cancer, such as a metabolomic profile, is needed to permit the best course of treatment. Several improvements in the last decade have lead to increased accessibility to NMR technology, which has a central role in furthering research and clinical views in personalized medicine.
