Transforming PFAS analysis in your laboratory
11 Jun 2023
This webinar from Waters focuses on PFAS compounds that have increasingly become of concern for health reasons, leading to calls for more stringent regulations and monitoring. Therefore, environmental testing laboratories are being asked to analyze for more species of PFAS at lower concentrations. New regulations are expected for PFAS testing in the US, specifically for drinking water and wastewater. The webinar introduces Waters ERA's new PFAS that is available to assist laboratories in achieving accreditation to EPA Method 1633 (Draft), ASTM Method D8421-21 (Draft) and SW-846 Method 8327. With 44 PFAS analytes, a lab can add accreditation, address challenges in PFAS analysis such as sample handling and contamination reduction, demonstrate analyst competency, and document its commitment to quality for these new methods.
