Introduction to 20 Minute Pathogen ID Using QuickFISH

This video shows how QuickFISH can be used to report pathogen ID from a blood culture. It details the simple protocol for of fixing the sample on the slide, hybridizing the PNA probes to the sample and examining the slide using a fluorescence microscope. Every QuickFISH slide has built-in positive and negative control wells to allow you to be confident about every result. The kit provides all reagents and consumables needed to carry out the identification.
