Reinnervate discuss the launch of the second wave of Alvetex® products for long term cell culture. Alvetex® is a highly porous polystyrene substrate that enables routine homogeneous 3D cell culture. The new well inserts in deep Petri dishes enable genuine cell culture. A wide variety of cells can be cultured in Alvetex, and key applications include liver toxicity screening, skin barrier assays, stem cell differentiation and explantation of 3D tissue.
