Simultaneous Analysis of Vitamin A and D3 in Vitamin Premixes and Concentrates by Convergence Chromatography/PDA Detection
9 Mar 2015Simultaneous analysis of fat-soluble vitamins in foods is challenging due to their different properties and concentrations. This application note reports a method for analysis of vitamin A and D3 in vitamin premixes and concentrates in one analytical run without purification or dilution, using Waters® UltraPerformance Convergence Chromatography™ (UPC2®). The metrological properties of the UPC2 and the advantages of the method compared to the HPLC are also discussed.
