Rapid Evaluation of Compound Allergenicity by Measuring Histamine Release on Stimulated Whole Blood
5 Dec 2018This study demonstrates the capability of the HTRF Histamine-Dynamic kit to measure histamine release in whole blood samples treated with different allergen mixes. Investigating histamine release in fresh blood enables a rapid assessment of immunogenicity reactions and thus aids in efficiently predicting the safety of drug candidates.

AntibodiesAntibodies are used in techniques such as confocal and fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, immunohistochemistry, western blotting and immunopreciptation. Select specific antigen reactivity, high specific affinity, low non-specific binding, monoclonal or polyclonal, primary or secondary antibodies and associated conjugates such as an enzyme or dye for visualization.ToxicityToxicity is defined as the degree to which a substance can harm humans or animals. It is essential to study the toxicity of pharmaceutical products during the development process so that optimum dosage can be established for the administration of the drug.Blood AnalysisThe analysis of blood is vital for many areas of life sciences and forensic investigations. Blood samples can be tested for a number of different reasons such as diagnosis, glucose levels, cholesterol and drug testing.Allergen
