The duetta looks great, but does not function well. In just two years, we have had issues with the power supply and the detector, which delayed our work. The lamp lifetime is short and it is costly to replace. I do not recommend this instrument.

Duetta is a revolutionary fluorescence/UV-Vis spectrometer that combines fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy into one instrument, eliminating the need for multiple scanning instruments. In addition to traditional fluorescence and UV-Vis-NIR absorbance spectroscopy modalities, the new system also features fluorescence Excitation Emission Matrices (EEMSs) with simultaneous absorbance measurement providing extended linear dynamic range due to automatic inner filter effect corrections.
