At Biotechnica 2013 Sarstedt will present a new range of cell culture products. The cell culture flasks, dishes, and plates have been optimized to enhance the usability and handling of the products. Three different color coded growth surfaces, the extended plate range, and the labeling of all products with LOT number and expiry date are just some of the improvements made to ensure the outstanding quality of the new cell culture products.

The new Low Retention Pipette Tips from Sarstedt are ideal for superior sample recovery due to optimized surface properties. Pipetting viscous material or samples containing detergents quite frequently leaves residues in the pipette tip. Using Sarstedt’s new Low Retention Pipette Tips excludes this deficiency. Apart from providing enhanced pipetting accuracy, the new tip option therefore also minimizes the loss of valuable reagents like restriction enzymes or polymerases. In addition to Low Retention filter tips in Biosphere® plus quality, our range includes standard pipette tips with optimised surface properties.

At the Biotechnica, Sarstedt will also present the new “Low DNA Binding Micro Tubes”. As the trend towards decreasing sample volumes continues, it becomes increasingly important to minimize possible interactions between the analyte and the tube. In response to this demand, our low DNA-binding micro tubes are specially designed to meet the requirements of DNA analytics while maximizing DNA recovery rates.
