Thermo Fisher Scientific will be offering an array of technology solutions and expert advice to scientists at the AACR Annual Meeting in Atlanta, USA.

Among the new products on show at booth #1924 will be the Arcturus Cellect Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) System, a redesigned LCM instrument branded the ‘complete system for microgenomics’.

Other instruments on offer to cancer researchers include solutions for cell biology, flow cytometry, real-time PCR (qPCR) and digital PCR (dPCR), microarrays, Sanger sequencing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), bioinformatics and more.

Experts will also be on hand to provide help and advice on design considerations for immuno-oncology NGS experiments.

As well as technological solutions, Thermo Fisher Scientific is hosting a number of poster sessions, such as:

  • Unraveling biology and identifying targets with functional genomics approaches using lentiarray CRISPR libraries - Monday, April 1, 1–5 pm
  • Assessing tumor mutational burden and profiling variants from FFPE samples using a PCR-based next-generation sequencing assay - Wednesday, April 3, 8 am–12 pm

And there’ll be a little entertainment too in the form of The Challenge Bar Trivia Game, where attendees can test their knowledge of cancer research for the chance to top the leader board.
