Product news

The next-generation benchtop Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometer S2 PUMA™ Series 2 is equipped with HighSense technology, increasing throughput by about a factor of three.

Bruker’s software SPECTRA.ELEMENTS™ comes with enhanced features and faster algorithms, leading to approximately 40% shorter evaluation times.

The S2 PUMA™ Series 2 supports elemental analysis applications from cement, steel, mining and petrochemical, to food analysis and pharma QC. The new mapping stage also extends its applications into semiconductors and coatings, where spatial resolution is required.

Common methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, remote visual inspection (RVI), and eddy-current testing. NDT is regularly used in forensic engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, and medicine.Elemental AnalysisElemental analysis involves determining the elemental composition of a sample, often used in environmental, pharmaceutical, and material sciences. Techniques like ICP-MS, X-ray fluorescence, and atomic absorption spectroscopy allow precise quantification of elements such as metals and nonmetals in complex matrices.
