BRM (Brahma, SMARCA2, SNF2L2) is a member of the SWI/SNF family of ATP-dependant chromatin remodeling proteins. BRM is the catalytic subunit of a multi-subunit protein complex that utilizes the energy from ATP hydrolysis to alter chromatin structure and activate transcription.
