Immunoflourescence
Its staining is somehow very low and difficult to detect on fluorescent microscopes, you need multiphoton imaging. Staining changes from day to day. Also it is very limited in terms of staining on processes and body of pericytes make it difficult to differentiate from background. Difficulty to establish a working protocol.
