HSP72 rat antibody (mAb) (Clone 3G7)
HSP72 (Heat Shock Protein 72) is a member of the DnaK/HSP70 family of protein chaperones involved in protein homeostasis. HSP72 is expressed at low constitutive levels and is induced upon exposure to environmental stress. HSP72 released into the blood can serve as an alert for the immune system. Increased levels of HSP72 can repress expression of inflammatory response genes by inhibiting NF-kB.
