Troponin test promises to reduce strain on A&E

The TriageTrue® system could reduce the influx of chest pain patients into A&E, as troponin tests can be performed outside traditional hospital settings. The portability of the device can allow for screening of low-risk patients in ambulances and potential triage to alternative healthcare facilities like walk-in centers or GP services. Dr. James Hatherley, cardiology registrar and principal investigator for the MACROS-2 trial, discusses the benefits and reliability of the TriageTrue® in clinical settings.
