Rigaku SmartLab®, an advanced X-ray Diffractometer (XRD), is a versatile multipurpose X-ray diffraction system with Guidance™ expert system intelligent software. This video of actual instrument operation demonstrates goniometer measurement geometries associated with a variety of common XRD experiments and includes the series of steps describing the fully automated optical alignment process.
