Whether this is your first time or you’re a seasoned tradeshow veteran, they’ve got some top tips to help you make the most out of your visit.

1. Dress right

The first rule of tradeshows – Do not, under any circumstances wear brand new shoes! We don’t know how far the average conference visitor walks but even in the most comfortable shoes it feels like hundreds of miles! Make yourself a controlled variable – no two tradeshow venue temperatures are the same so wear layers you can take off easily if it gets too hot and vice versa.

2. Plan your must-see presentations in advance

The Pittcon presentation program features over 2,000 talks, workshops and poster sessions across every discipline you can imagine. Browse the official guide by area of interest and plan ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss anything.

3. Don’t worry, be Appy

The Pittcon App lets you plan and store your schedule, search the exhibitors and find somewhere to eat and much more.

4. Get breaking news on the move

Great stuff at shows often happens unplanned. It’s a good idea to keep track of the Pittcon social media channels for the latest news and updates from the show. That way you won’t miss out on anything really important, even if you’re not there at the time.
