Utilizing process Raman for automated feedback control of viable cell density
29 Oct 2024Explore the role of bioreactors in bioprocessing is emphasized, particularly their importance in producing biotechnological products across various industries. Bioreactor operations are categorized into batch, fed-batch, and perfusion modes, with perfusion gaining popularity for its ability to maintain high viable cell density (VCD) and enhance yield. This study introduces a novel approach using process Raman technology for real-time monitoring and feedback control of cell bleeding in perfusion bioreactors, optimizing bioprocessing and improving product quality.
