Particle size and shape are the main parameters that determine the energy storage capacity for the anode in Li-ion batteries (LIBs), which should be monitored and controlled within an optimal range to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process. Bettersize Instruments presents a collection of five application notes focusing on the analysis of battery electrode slurry, particle size distribution, zeta potential, and tapped density of lithium-ion batteries. The BeNano 90 Zeta nanoparticle size and zeta potential analyzer and Bettersizer S3 Plus were utilized for the experiments.
