Steviol Glycoside Determination by HPLC with Charged Aerosol and UV Detections Using the Acclaim Trinity P1 Column
12 Apr 2012In this note steviol glycosides are determined by charged aerosol and UV detections in consumer sweeteners. This method uses the hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) mode allowing separation of multiple steviol glycosides. By using a volatile mobile phase, charged aerosol detection is feasible, which aids the detection of glycosides that do not have strong UV extinction coefficients.
