Single cell methylome profiling of human glioma

28 Mar 2025

Alterations in DNA methylation patterns are a hallmark of various cancers. Gliomas represent a highly diverse set of cancers and particular subtypes, such as isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutant tumors, are associated with hypermethylation of CpG sites. Discover in this application note ScaleBio’s Single Cell DNA Methylation kit that enables the analysis of tens of thousands of cells simultaneously, whilst eliminating the need for complex instrumentation to analyze an IDH mutant glioma tumor.

DNA / RNA QuantificationDetection and quantification of nucleic acids is important in molecular biology, cloning, expression, forensics and clinical diagnostics. Nucleic acids can be detected by labeling with colorimetric, fluorescent or radio labels and using in situ hybridization kits to identify specific sequences. Multiple nucleic acids can be detected and quantified at once using RNA / DNA detection beads or RNA / DNA microarrays.
