Separation of substances produced during utilization of biomass (VN-50 4D)

The various substances such as glycerin and dihydroxyacetone are produced in the reaction process from biomass until the final product has been obtained. In this application note from Showa Denko, substances produced during biomass utilization were separated using HILICpak VN-50 4D, a polymer-based HILIC column.
