15 Mar 2023Homogeneous, highly purified supercoiled plasmid DNA (pDNA) preparations from bacterial cultures are used for various downstream molecular biology applications, such as cloning, transfection, and protein production. In this application note, learn how the suitability of the Resolvex® A200 24 positive pressure processor was investigated for semi-automating plasmid DNA extraction using the NucleoBond PC 10000 EF Giga kit. The Tecan workflow uses automated pressure profiles for the filtration, washing, and elution steps to yield high-quality plasmid DNA.
