Reveleris® iES System Purifies Acarbose from its Sugar Components at Low Levels in a Single Run

This application note shows that the sensitive Reveleris® iES flash chromatography system can isolate and detect acarbose, an inhibitor of alpha-glucosidase, from it's sugar components. Acarbose is used in the treatment of diabetic patients to significantly lower blood glucose. The RevealX™ technology also allows non-chromophoric peaks to be detected with the chromophoric ones in a single run for fraction collection and further analysis.
