Cannabidiol (CBD) is thought to have a wide scope of potential medicinal benefits. Following extraction from hemp, purification or isolation of the compound is required to provide sufficient amounts of a high-purity compound for use in bioassays. This application note describes the purification of CBD from a CBD-rich paste using the Waters® Prep 150 LC System.
