Predicting Outcomes Post-Transplant with ddPCR
5 Dec 2018A high proportion of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients relapse following stem-cell transplant. Inferior outcome has been associated with pre-transplant measurable residual disease (MRD) in mulitple studies. This abstract reports the utilization of ddPCR as an MRD platform to track mutations in 33 AML patients.

Clinical TrialsClinical Trials, an essential part of drug discovery process, assess the safety and effectiveness of a new medication or device in the pharmaceutical industry. Clinical Trials are a phased process (Phase 0, Phase I, Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV) which begins after initial preclinical testing.Droplet Digital PCRDroplet digital PCR (ddPCR) is a method of quantitative PCR that partitions a sample into droplets, allowing precise detection of low-abundance targets. It is commonly used in gene expression analysis and mutation detection.
