Optimizing Quadrupole Interfaces in a Lens-free Triple Quadrupole
9 Aug 2012This application note explains the patent pending concept ‘Lens-free Decoupler’ removes undesired large levels of ‘RF cross-talk’ , caused when two quadrupoles are near in space, which can cause MS/MS sensitivity to vary significantly. A ‘Lens-Free Decoupler’ interface self-cancels the RF cross-talk while keeping the advantages of a lens-free design: optimum MS/MS efficiency, minimal tuning and robust operation.

Gas ChromatographyGas chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate and quantitate mixtures of small and volatile compounds. Gas chromatographs or GC systems include components such as GC columns, detectors, pumps and autosamplers. Choose from packed or capillary GC columns, flame ionization (FID), photoionization (PID) electron capture detectors and selective or non-selective detectors.
