Centrifugation is one of the most commonly used methods of cell separation, especially rate-zonal density gradient centrifugation, which relies on centrifugal force to sediment cells through a linear density gradient. This application note explores the use of Beckman Coulter’s Centrifugal Elutriation System in optimizing cell separation.
