Novel NanoCHIP® XL-Based Molecular Tests For Screening and Genotyping The Most Abundant Human Papillomavirus High- and Low-Risk Strains

22 May 2014

Savyon Diagnostics is engaged with development of the concept of two separate and consecutive molecular-based tests, i.e. screening and genotyping of HPV high- and low-risk strains on the NanoCHIP®XL molecular electronic microarray system. This poster demonstrates the usefulness of the newly developed tests in providing a comprehensive solution to the need for efficient screening, early detection and HPV genotyping.

NanoCHIP® XL Analyzer

Savyon Diagnostics

The NanoChip® system is an automated, multi-purpose instrument which is used for clinical molecular diagnostics. Clinical microbiology, genetics/cytogenetics and pathology laboratories use this convenient platform to identify pathogenic infections, carriage of genetic disorders, predisposition to diseases and response to pharmaceutical therapies. The NanoCHIP® technology is intended for those users that require: Medium-to high throughput Multiplex molecular testing (over 4 markers/sample) Automation Simplicity Full LIS connectivity

MicrobiologyMicrobiology is the study of microorganisms including protists, prokaryotes, fungi, and, often, viruses. Microorganisms are a useful research tool as genetic vectors and, in immunology, for antibiotic susceptibility testing, cellular biology and genetics. Microorganisms commonly grow readily in incubators with microbial culture media; this can contain chromogenic supplements to differentiate between cell lines. Estimate your culture’s density of microorganisms with colony counters, or screen and select colonies for desirable clones with automated colony pickers. Additionally, equipment is available to monitor environments for the presence of microbes and identify with microbial identification instruments.
