Natural Gas Detection on Industrial Sites
23 Oct 2018Bertin Instruments went to Total trial campaign on Methane gas detection. Several labs and industrials were invited to show their technology. The goal was to find out more on the different gas detection technologies in order to develop a supervision software using the advantages of each technology, to improve the safety on industrial sites. During one week, the Second Sight TC, gas leak detector, has been deployed on the industrial site of Total Lacq, nearby Pau, France. This event allowed the Second Sight to face the real conditions of an industrial site with all type of leaks (from the smallest to the biggest).
