Moisture content determination in cannabis inflorescence

30 Oct 2020

The determination of moisture in cannabis and products derived from cannabis is widespread practice for various questions and is partly required by law. On the one hand, the level of moisture influences the weight of a product, and thus, also the concentration of ingredients and its indication for documentation purposes—here, for example, for THC. On the other hand, moisture is an important process parameter for the processing of cannabis, either to monitor the curing process or before the extraction of cannabis, where certain moisture limits must not be exceeded or undercut.
