Methane Detection in a Wastewater Treatment Plant
7 Nov 2018The wastewater treatment plant of Seine Amont is dealing with the city of Paris wastewater’s. This plant has the particularity to produce biogas. At each stage of water cleaning, specific waste called sludge are recovered. This sludge is integrated into a digester in order to produce biogas resulting from the fermentation. This digester has a safety system to monitor the pressurization. In case of overpressure, digester degas a mixture (65% of methane, plus CO2, H2S and other compounds) with a debit of 400 m3/h.

Environmental Monitoring and TestingEnvironmental monitoring and testing uses handheld portable analyzers, kits, spectrometers or chromatography systems for air, water, soil, food and other sample testing. Useful features of analyzers such as BOD and COD include portability, easy calibration, automation and sensitivity. Environmental test kits for pH, water, moisture, etc, should be accurate, sensitive, reliable, fast and easy to use.Waste WaterNatural Gas
