Lyophilized beads: Efficient, scalable, production

28 Sept 2023

In this brochure, BioDot addresses challenges in producing lyophilized beads at the microliter scale using conventional dispensing technologies. Conventional methods often result in inconsistent drop volumes, poor bead morphologies, and low throughput, leading to decreased yield and increased manufacturing costs. BioDot enables non-contact fluid dispensing in microliter, nanoliter, and picoliter volumes, reliably, accurately, and quickly, and are capable of handling fluid viscosities from 0.5 cPs to 10 cPs.

Quality control is a monitoring procedure or set of procedures that are put in place to ensure that a manufactured product adheres to a defined set of quality criteria. qPCRQuantitative PCR (qPCR) is a molecular biology technique used to amplify and measure the amount of a specific DNA or RNA target. It plays a crucial role in gene expression analysis, pathogen detection, and quantifying DNA or RNA in various applications. Real-time PCR provides precise, quantitative results and is widely used in research, diagnostics, and clinical studies.
