Luciferase Reporter Assay Using the Orion II Microplate Luminometer and Simplicity 4 Software
11 Feb 2015Not all expressed enzymes are easily detectable, so reporter genes were introduced into cellular DNA to investigate gene function by means of a measurable property, the luminescence. This application note demonstrates the suitability of the Orion II Microplate Luminometer to perform a commercial Luciferase Assay. Results demonstrate the high dynamic range of the instrument.
