Label-Free Kinetic Measurements Using SoPRano Gold Nano Rods (GNRs) and a Spectrometer Microplate Reader
7 Oct 2012The label-free SoPRano™ kit enables users to design and run microplate-based homogeneous assays for high quality protein-protein interaction analysis based on Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR). This application note describes how spectrometer-based microplate readers from BMG LABTECH use full spectrum analysis to capture the concentration dependent shift that is seen with protein-ligand binding. With the MARS Data Analysis software, association (ka) and dissociation (kd) binding rates can be extracted from full spectral kinetic measurements.
