Kbiosystems sealing series of automated and semi-automated systems

In this application note, Kbiosystems introduces the Ultraseal XT-PRO unit, which serves as an automated heat-applied microplate and tube rack sealer. This unit is designed for sealing tall plate racks and tubes with a base-to-top height of up to 76 mm. It utilizes a roll of surface-modified aluminum or plastic film that is approximately 78 mm wide and 600 m long. The roll is positioned at the rear of the sealing section via a removable stand. Through a total inline method, the film is pulled through the main unit, cut to a length between 125 mm and 130 mm, and then applied to the plate's top surface to create a secure seal between the plate and the film.
