iCell Cardiomyocytes: Assaying Cytotoxicity
23 Sept 2012Read this application note to learn how iCell® Cardiomyocytes, from Cellular Dynamics International, can be used for in vitro toxicity screening and drug development. The viability and cytotoxicity assay results, as measured using the Promega MultiTox-Fluor Multiplex Cytotoxicity Assay, demonstrate that iCell Cardiomyocytes are sensitive to known cardiotoxic compounds. Drug compound-induced general cytotoxic effects on iCell Cardiomyocytes can be reliably assessed independent of cell number.
