How to Use UPLC and QTOF to Screen e-Cigarettes for Unknown Impurities
4 Jul 2017Characterization of extractables and leachables is essential for ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of inhalation tobacco products, such as e-cigarettes. The testing of these products includes targeted screening (testing for known impurities) and non-targeted screening (testing for unknown impurities). The following poster presents the non-targeted screening of e-cigarettes for unknown impurities that may migrate from the starting materials, other packaging and device components using UPLC.
