High-Throughput Purification of DNA with the Thermo Scientific KingFisher Cell and Tissue DNA Kit
1 Sept 2011This application note from Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces the Thermo Scientific KingFisher Cell and Tissue DNA Kit offering efficient and fast DNA purification with a wide variety of sample materials. The kit has been developed for the purification of DNA from tissues and cultured cells or bacteria with KingFisher® magnetic particle processors. Results indicate that different sample materials require varied lysing times and can be shortened if the lysis is performed in the KingFisher instrument and purified DNA is suitable for direct use in different downstream applications, such as PCR and restriction analysis.
