High Confidence, Non-Targeted Screening for Drugs of Abuse in Urine

This application note describes a study in which the Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive™ GC Orbitrap™ GC-MS/MS system was evaluated for the screening of drugs of abuse in real case urine samples. It details the sample preparation, instrument setup and data processing using the Thermo Scientific™ TraceFinder™ software. The results obtained demonstrate that the Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive™ GC Orbitrap™ GC-MS/MS system in combination with Thermo Scientific™ TraceFinder™ software is a powerful tool for the routine screening of drugs of abuse and chemical profiling of complex urine samples.
